Flambó Makes Its Puerto Rico Debut as Bad Bunny Brings His “Cerramos en Casa” Finale to San Juan
Puerto Rican fragrance brand makes an unexpected first appearance outside Estadio Hiram Bithorn ahead of its planned October launch at Puerto Rico Expo
SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO — August 23, 2026 — Flambó, the emerging Puerto Rican fragrance brand founded by Newark native Havier Nazario, is making an unexpected early debut in Puerto Rico this weekend, bringing its signature fragrance, Parcha Fuerte, to San Juan as thousands of fans descend upon Estadio Hiram Bithorn for the final two performances of Bad Bunny’s DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour, billed as “Cerramos en casa.”
For Flambó founder Havier Nazario, the timing was too significant to ignore.
Nazario had originally planned to introduce Flambó to Puerto Rico in October 2026 at Puerto Rico Fragrance Expo. That debut remains on the calendar, but when the opportunity arose to bring Parcha Fuerte to San Juan during one of the island's most anticipated cultural moments of the year, he decided not to wait.
“Puerto Rico has always been the destination for Flambó. October was supposed to be our first introduction, but when I saw what was happening around Hiram Bithorn, I knew we had to be there,” said Nazario. “There are thousands of people coming home, gathering together and celebrating Puerto Rico. I wanted Flambó to be part of that energy.”
A Debut in True Flambó Fashion
Flambó will not be an official sponsor or affiliated partner of the concert. Instead, the brand is taking a distinctly independent approach, making its presence felt outside the stadium and within the surrounding energy of the weekend.
In a move that reflects the brand's identity, Parcha Fuerte will appear in San Juan in a deliberately unexpected and unconventional fashion; an early introduction to a fragrance brand that has built its identity around Puerto Rican culture, independence and self-expression.
“The artists that have emerged from Puerto Rico over the recent decades represent a profound expression of artistry, resistance, and love for our land, our people, our culture and our way of life,” said Nazario. “Bad Bunny, Matt Louis, Rauw Alejandro, Ivy Queen, Vico C, Playero, Don Omar, El Gran Combo, the whole Fania family, Menudo; I can go on and on. So many artists have inspired me to amplify that same message of identity through scent.”
For Nazario, Flambó is part of a much larger Puerto Rican story.
Music has long been one of Puerto Rico's most powerful cultural exports. Flambó seeks to create that same sense of recognition through fragrance; something that can travel beyond the island and allow Puerto Ricans and the diaspora to carry a piece of that identity with them.
Parcha Fuerte: A Fragrance With an Identity
Flambó's signature fragrance, Parcha Fuerte, is a bold eau de parfum inspired by Puerto Rico. Its composition combines passionfruit, saffron, Bulgarian rose and olibanum with oud, patchouli and gurjun balsam, settling into a base of leather, cypriol, amber and vanilla. But for Flambó, the fragrance is about more than its notes. It is about identity.
The brand's philosophy is rooted in the belief that fragrance can evoke memory, communicate confidence and connect people to where they come from.
That philosophy is especially relevant during a weekend built around a simple but powerful message: Cerramos en casa.
For Flambó, coming home does not mean simply returning to a place. It means reconnecting with the people, culture and creative energy that inspired the brand in the first place.
The Beginning, Not the Official Launch
While this weekend marks Flambó's first physical appearance in Puerto Rico, the brand's planned official Puerto Rico debut will continue on October 16-17, 2026, at the Puerto Rico Fragrance Expo.
“October is still our official introduction to Puerto Rico,” Nazario said. “But I couldn't sit back and wait. When Puerto Rico calls, you go.”
From Newark to Puerto Rico, Flambó is building a fragrance brand rooted in the belief that identity should be carried proudly; and sometimes, unexpectedly.
